Course Overview
Build your confidence in responding to accidents and injuries you'll see on the pitch. This course introduces essential first aid for sport in an engaging and accessible format, focusing on the most common sports injuries. You'll learn how to treat minor sports injuries like strains, sprains and bruises, as well as more serious injuries such as dislocations and head trauma - practical knowledge that can make a real difference as a coach, player or supporter.

This module has been built in partnership with Jim Bott and the First Aid Collective. Jim started the First Aid Collective after working in emergency and urgent healthcare for more than 20 years because he wanted to make first aid training more practical, engaging and relevant to real life. First aid shouldn't just be about completing a course and getting a certificate, it should give you the confidence to know what to do when someone genuinely needs your help.
The First Aid Collective's aim is simple: engaging, practical first aid training that gives people the confidence to act when it really matters.
